Who we are and what we do
Bikers Down Society provides temporary financial assistance to Nova Scotian motorcyclists who have been involved in a collision, while enjoying the sport of motorcycling. Our organization is dedicated to supporting individuals within the biking community during challenging times. We aim to make a positive impact by helping riders get back on their feet and back on the road. This is a great space to share the stories of the individuals we've helped and the difference our support has made in their lives.
Our Board
The board of Bikers Down is dedicated, supportive, and compassionate. These volunteers work tirelessly to raise funds to help bikers and their families in times of need. Each member has a deep connection to the biking community, and their passion drives everything we do. Together, we’re making a real difference—one ride or event at a time.
We believe in the resilience and strength of the biking community. Every rider can overcome adversity, reclaim their passion for the open road, and inspire others to do the same.

At Bikers Down, we’re here for you when the unexpected happens. Our goal is to prevent accidents before they happen through education and awareness, because we know how dangerous the road can be for motorcyclists and their passengers.
While it’s important for riders to stay prepared, we also need to reach everyone on the road—drivers of cars, trucks, and all vehicles. We must all take responsibility for our own safety and the safety of those around us. Too often, we hear “I didn’t see them!” after a motorcycle crash. Let’s change that!
We’re committed to preventing collisions and reminding everyone that a motorcycle is not just a vehicle—it’s a person’s life at stake. We also want to raise awareness about the long and challenging recovery process after a serious injury. Things like re-learning how to eat, dress, or even manage daily life can become huge hurdles.
That’s why we’re here to help, especially for riders who are under-insured. With charitable donations, we’ll assist motorcyclists in need, helping them get back on their feet while also educating them on how to stay safe.
We want to be there for you, but we also need you to be responsible. Think about your safety, your family, and how you ride.
